The relationship that existed between Ariana and Brian was genuine, sincere and beautiful to behold.

Brian was there alongside Ariana and those two and guess what?  There was light now thanks to Brian. 

They picked their phones, connected them to their respective chargers and then to the power source and switched on the TV. Alex picked a movie for them to watch while they ate. Brian and Ariana had gone upstairs cause that was where Ariana served theirs. 

As they ate (Ariana and Brian), Brian explained how he got to the house in the storm and how he was almost swept away by the flood caused by the heavy downpour. Ariana was really sad on hearing him narrate his ordeal and made him promise not to do such anymore.  "What if you had died? I wouldn't have gotten the chance to see you. Please don't take such risks again,  I cannot afford to lose you".

Ariana expressed how unhappy she felt on hearing how Brian got to the house although she was relieved that nothing happened to him.

As soon as they finished eating and as Ariana was clearing the table, Brian decided to help her take the dishes to the kitchen. Afterwards, they both joined Alex and Audrey in the living room before they retired to their room upstairs. 

The clouds were beginning to clear out after five days of continuous downpour and storm, but had not completely faded. This made the weather super cold as though it was snowing. 

The movie finally came to an end. Audrey and Alex turned off the TV but had some soft music playing in the background,  enough to complement the weather as they relaxed in each other's arms while listening to the music. 

While they were there, they heard a knock on the door and when Audrey opened up, it was Mr Anderson and Daniel.  Audrey could not believe his eyes.  Like what is Mr Anderson doing in Ariana's apartment at that time of the day, in that particular kind of weather and with all that had happened? "I thought his wife just returned and he should be home spending time with his wife", Audrey soliloquized.  But the young man didn't bother as he was super worried about his friends' welfare.

Mr Anderson got into the living room and saw Alex. They all exchanged pleasantries. They (Mr Anderson and Daniel) asked after Ariana and Brian, and Alex told them that they were both doing good and it wasn't long until they retired.

At this point, Mr Anderson felt at ease and at peace because they were fine. Well, the night was still young with a romantic atmosphere but Mr Anderson refused to leave, he decided to relax for a while before he and Daniel left...
