This challenge probably is a cliché because Ariana had her own episode not long ago and has not fully recovered. And now,  Brian is having his, and we do not know for sure how he's really doing. He may say he's fine, but is he really...?

Ariana was worried sick as she stared at Brian's life slowly fading away in her arms and she panicked... 

Alex and Audrey stayed put trying to provide comfort and solutions to Ariana,  but sadly, nothing they were saying was making sense to her as she continued to look lost.

 

It was 8pm already and she was beginning to lose energy, almost as though she was going to pass out. The only thing she could do was pray for strength to carry on and at that moment, she said;

"God help me, your strength is perfect when all of mine is gone". 

And as she prayed, she realized she could pray for Brian as well, and she continued...

She laid her left hand on his forehead (where the injury was) and said, "Brian, I keep your life in your body, strength comes to you now, your head is healed right now in Jesus's name" Alex and Audrey echoed "amen".

As simple and short as that prayer was, it was efficacious.  Immediately, she received strength and Brian's heartbeat became steady and consistent, she suddenly felt the need to leave him and return downstairs because somehow she knew everything was going to be fine.

So the three of them went downstairs with her. Audrey was in the sitting room while Ariana and Alex went into the kitchen to prepare something for everyone to eat.

Thank goodness the freezer could retain ice for days up to a week and some days. So Ariana was thankful that the food in the house was safe for that moment. 

She brought out two bowls of afang soup while she boiled some water to make the garri for the soup. She later warmed the soup and dished some for Alex and Audrey,  then she dished for herself and Brian. 

Alex took theirs to the dining room first, and held the lamp up for Ariana as she took hers and Brian's upstairs. As they entered the room,  they could not find Brian on the bed.
