Mr Anderson wanted to see Brian and Ariana before he left so he decided to not leave hoping that the couple would return downstairs, perhaps to fetch something from the kitchen. So he stayed put. He wondered what Alexander was doing in the arms of Audrey and even though he liked to see such, he thought his boy (Daniel) would have gotten that spot. Seeing Audrey there was a bit worrying for him.

Daniel was so uncomfortable watching Alex in Audrey's arms. He really thought that Alexander felt something for him because she gave him signals here and there or so he thought. Perhaps, one of the reasons he followed his boss (Mr Anderson) there was so he could finally get the chance to confess to Alex how his heart had been feeling towards her. But at that moment, he couldn't do that anymore because what he was seeing right there, what was happening between the two was beyond a day's trip. It was something that had begun for a while. How could he beat that? 

It was too much for him to deal with. 

Mr Anderson quickly understood how uncomfortable Daniel began to feel and knew that the only way to help the boy was to leave the place but he just could not leave without seeing the people he came to see. So he turned a blind eye and did not cave in, instead, he broke the ice and started a small talk with Audrey. 

"Hey Audrey, how are you doing and how's work? It's been a while since we saw last I suppose..."

"I am well, thanks for asking. How about yourself, hope you've been well? (Simply avoiding the other part of Mr Anderson's question).

And he answered him "oh yes! I'm well too, thanks"  and

Mr Anderson continued, “you didn't go to work?" Immediately he said that, Alexander interrupted him... "That's true Audrey baby, I've been meaning to ask you how you didn't go to work that morning when you woke?" Daniel looked at Mr Anderson and they both looked back at Audrey and Alex. Baby?¡

"I'll get back to you babe, let me answer Mr Anderson, maybe you'll get yours from the answer I'll give him".

"Well, sir, I am on leave, that's how come I'm not at work". And he turned to Alex and asked, "Do you understand now?" And she responded in the affirmative and told him not to bother explaining further.
