NO GOODBYES (CHAPTER 51)
Who wouldn't faint or scream or react in some type of way that's breath taking. A situation almost impossible where you make a wish or pray for something and it happens immediately without delay. That was the situation with Ariana.
When Brian called her and she didn't answer, he figured something was wrong and considering the sound she made after which nothing came from her anymore made him believe that something must have happened to her. He
rushed to her but in the process of the rush, he
hit his head on the wall because it was dark and he didn't use the method he was supposed to use ( the blind search pattern).
Now he doesn't know how to get to her with the pain he was feeling. He doesn't even know the part of the room where he was anymore. He is now in the same space with the love of his life but can't reach her or touch her. The pain his heart endured was more than the one he felt in his head.
He called out to her "Ariana, are you there? Wake up please " he kept repeating himself and moved his hands around where he sat, perhaps, he'd figure out the part of the room where he was. Then he found a pair of slippers. He picked one out of the pair and started hitting it on the ground while calling out to her. He continued with repeated hitting and somehow felt some kind of liquid dripping from where he had hit his head and traced it to the part it was dripping from. Only then did he realize it was his blood dripping out, not much but consistently flowing from his head.
He took off the top he found in the room to wrap his head in order to stop the bleeding, then it hit him that he was close to the entrance because of the slippers he found (from touching it, it was Ariana's even though Ariana doesn't bring her slippers beyond the door beside the wardrobe), and just in front of the wardrobe you'll find the bed.
Then it occurred to him that he can still find his way to her. So he followed the direction from where he picked the footwear, gradually using his hands as eyes, he found the door and the wardrobe, then he found the bed.
He finally found his way to her and that was relieving for him.
