Brian was literally shaking because of cold and from the shock he gave himself  from the scene. He was disconnected from himself and where he stood,  he lost his sense of reasoning objectively,  constructively and intelligently, his emotions reigned over him.

From there, he  started shaking to the extent that he decided to at least sit on the bed and then he sat on Ariana's hands and immediately he landed on her soft and warm hands, he stood and almost screamed but closed his mouth with his left hand because he didn't want to disturb the couple downstairs, then he waited for reactions. And as soon as he stood up Ariana woke up in shock wondering what happened and she almost panicked but she decided to be strong and not let fear in.

Brian stood where he was still and wandered who was really there.  At first he thought it was Alex that could be there but Alex doesn't sleep in this room,  this is Ariana's room. "Could that be Ariana and the people downstairs are her guests?"

Now his head was working,  he began thinking well...

Ariana on the other hand felt bad that she was alone and called out to Brian "I really wish you're here Brian,  I wouldn't have to go through this alone..."

Brian thought she had seen him because the message sounded rather personal. And he responded; "I am here my love" and Ariana fainted upon hearing this.
