THE TENSION
In stupefaction,  Brian allowed Mr Anderson ahead of him, then he followed...

All he wanted was Ariana,  all he could see and think was her. Nothing else mattered at that time. Not his life or the temporary feeling up of his selfish bowels that doesn't get satisfied with each meal. "Why can't one just stay without eating at all?" he drifted.  Finally something could distract him from his course, his stomach.

The ladies watched as they came to dine;

Now, the dining room has just six gorgeous seats  that were beautiful to behold. One at each end (head) of the table and two at the middle,  facing the other. Ariana stood at the head seat of the table, and Alex was almost close to her, standing at the right, beside the first middle seat on that line.

 Mr Anderson pulled out one of the seats at the middle of the table opposite Alex, and stood as Brian picked the seat facing Ariana at the other end of the table as expected. And as though they heard someone chorused; "you can now sit" they all sat at the same time.

If I didn't know better, I would have said everything was planned, the meeting, before you, unbounded atmosphere, left undone and the previous chapter (my lady). Who wouldn't think that? They all act as though they've been pre informed about such and such thing. How come this sitting arrangement is even perfect like a bride waiting to receive her father and mother - in - law for the first time. (You know the preparations for such an occasion) are usually off the hook.  That was exactly how it looked and felt in the dinning room. Everything at that time was nothing short of goodness. Something Brian was enjoying and rated in his mind as "perfect "as well.

Brian could not belive his eyes,  he always hoped to have a woman who depicts everything Ariana is, and it unbelievably unpretentious.

They served themselves from the table before them, each one passed the bowl of rice, stew etc to the other after scooping and they ate slowly and Brian saw a bottle of red wine dipped in iced silver bowl  and he stood up and approached it and he said, looking at Ariana; "may I...?" "By all means" Ariana answered him. He took the bottle of RED MUSCADEL wine and  opened it gradually because he didn't want it to pop.
He poured first for Ariana in the glass cup beside her plate, and for Alex, and then Mr Anderson, and finally himself. Then he sat down.

They ate and sipped their wine and Ariana spoke up;   "So Brian,  what have you come to do here, in the island...?  work? Business...?" Brian replied slowly looking at her... "neither..." " oh! indulge me please " Ariana continued..,  "I am here for an INDUSTRIAL TRAINING after which I'll go back" (Brian explained)

There was some sort of disappointment in the air, even for Mr Anderson. He looked at Brian with such disappointment and Brian, knowing what he had done, quickly added, "my Aunt lives here though, I would visit sometime" but no-one said any other thing as that (what Brian had said) was enough for the afternoon.

After lunch, they retired to the living room and Mr Anderson tried to ease the tension in the air and asked if they could see a movie before they eventually leave for "the all day trip" Brian suggested earlier.  Alex bought the idea and Brian,  but Ariana just sat there reminiscing all she had heard minutes ago,  her heart dropped into her belly...

How better can a day be?

The wait is too long for such a short chapter. Dear author, can we have three chapters? Thinking about this too much these days😁🙏
Mr Anderson is just a fortunate fellow.
Oh well, we're looking at adding more chapters per week, but it depends on the readers...

I am five readers in one. If it depends on readers, you have no problem again...
Hehehehe, okay. I've gotten responses too from other readers, Will do something about it.
