Ariana's breathing has normalized now, but she hasn't open her eyes since the incident.  The nurse ( David) was still standing beside her bed watching her and not allowing anyone come so close to her as they are not certain if it was a murder case or not, they had to apply necessary measures. At this time,  Brian had just left the hospital for Ariana's apartment so he could pick his Aunt's car, (Isabel) and go take her to work.

Door opens as David (the nurse), fastened his eyes towards the direction of the door to see who was coming in, and when he looked, it was the doctor from last night.  He needed to wait for the next doctor that will take over from him, so he could leave. 

When David saw that it was doctor Maxwell,  he gave a sign of rest and greeted him. Doctor Maxwell asked if anyone had come to see her, he said yes and described Brian. Then he emphasized on what he told him before now; "do not leave her side until we are sure of who tried to kill her, the other one has been arrested and in no time, he'll open up and tell us the truth, criminals! If you're tired, you can have someone relieve you" and he slammed the door in anger and left, as Ariana' shook a bit.

Why does this doctor believed strongly that it was an attempted murder is what I do not understand...

Yet, Ariana didn't open her eyes, but she was very much alive now. 

Brian had gotten to Ariana's apartment with the aid of a public transport and found his Aunt's car packed just the way he left it with the keys inside. He approached and looked around to see if anyone had come there because he knows how they left the house when it happened and even when they came back in search of the phone. 

Fortunately,  no one has, at least, that's what he thought.  He wanted to go inside the house but remembered his  Aunt, and moved away from the door facing the door, and as he moved back without watching, he stepped on an object that almost made him fall but he staggered few seconds and gained his composure almost immediately,  he looked at the object in front of him,  it was a Nokia battery on the floor, he bent down to pick it up as he found the front cover of the phone. He was excited. Apparently,  this was the phone they've been looking for that contains evidence that Mr Anderson is innocent.  He looked around for the remaining parts of the phone, and found it. Then, he coupled it and drove away.

It wasn't long when he got to the house and saw his Aunt already dressed waiting for him at the garden in front of the building when he arrived. 

She didn't show sign of anger, she was just happy he got there in time as she immediately joined him  to the office.

His Aunt broke the silence minutes later, "this world is full of wickedness, how could a driver attempt to kill the lady that brought him in to thank him for the ride and offered him food? Pure evil..."

"What are you talking about, Aunt? " Brian inquired. 

She continued; you haven't seen the news? She was almost stabbed to death, but thank God for someone who intervened."

Brian wondered if it was the same information he has first hand is what the Aunt was telling him about, so he decided to ask the further; " what is the name of this lady in question? "  she answered;  "I'm not so sure,  but I, I think I heard Anna. I, yes it's Anna..."

Immediately,  Brian knew it was the same gist she was reffering to, but he said nothing about it, instead he told her "do not pay attention to everything you hear from the news, most times, they are all lies..."

Shortly,  they arrived her office as she alighted, she said she was going to call him when she's done with her meeting and ready to go home. So he took the car straight to the station and broke the news to Mr Anderson.

What a world of stories and lies, nobody knows what's truth anymore...
