The ambience wasn't what Audrey had hoped it will be as everywhere was quiet. Alexandra was staring at Daniel mostly, Daniel was staring at Mr Anderson, while Audrey was looking at everyone.  He wondered if he was missing something. Obviously he was missing a lot of things. If he had come the time Alex did, perhaps he would have heard what she heard that kept her speech-less.

When no word was forth coming from anyone, Audrey broke word and said he was happy the weather condition was improving and sooner,  people will return to their way of life. After he said that, he sipped his whisky and Mr Anderson raised his cup to him to cheer with him as the both of them drank from their glasses.

Now, the moment was getting intense as silence grew stronger and every word that wasn't said was heard, and the officer couldn't but notice the strange awkwardness in the room happening between the two, despite how he had tried to get Alex's attention,  she was bent on Daniel6 alone. He didn't understand why that is, but one thing he knew was, he wasn't going to sit there like a non-living object and pretend he doesn't exist. So he picked himself up, and left without a word, Mr Anderson followed immediately. 

Then, the hour Alexandra was waiting for finally came. Alex fastened her eyes on Daniel that he could feel her eyes on his skin. Daniel's heart was racing beyond ordinary and Alex could hear it beat for her. She needed no one to tell her this was real and genuine,  she could see it, she could feel it, and now she's about to touch it. 

She raised her left hand and place it on Daniel, and there, was everything that she hoped for. The ignition was loud, louder than what she felt for Audrey.  She could not believe it...
