NO GOODBYES CHAPTER 56
Audrey knew he was going to lose her to a gate man if he did nothing or if he allowed her speak, so he shut her up by pulling her to himself.
The best thing that has happened to him in a long while was Alex and he was not about to let her go. He didn't want that. He was ready to fight for her love, her trust and even become a better man for her. Whatever Alex wanted, he wanted to do for her and to her. But Alexandra doesn't know this yet, no, she doesn't.
And so while they hugged he whispered to her, "don't leave me, I'll be with you in any way you want me".
Was that a mistake and some kind of slavery he had just signed up for?
Love can be many things but stupidity - I hear a lot of people say love is blind, foolish, makes one do stupid things bla bla bla. But the truth is, love is not any of those things.
Love is first, a feeling that matures into a desire of wanting and being, it then becomes a process of making, or a decidedness to be together as long as time allows. It is a world of its own, built and established by itself to catter and defend itself. She may look stupid or foolish in your eyes as long as her activities doesn't agree with you but, she (love) is never foolish.
Alexandra tried to pull away from Audrey but Audrey kept her still. She attempts once more and Audrey let her take herself. She said to him “I want to leave”, and he said nothing but stare at her. That was all she could say since after Mr Anderson left with Daniel.
Audrey's heart started racing, almost as if his heart was going to jump out of his chest. He must truly, really love her to feel the way he felt.
