She got into her kitchen and fetched an expensive bottle of whisky she kept to celebrate with the minute her result was announced. I don't know why she thought she'd get a pass cause she basically wrote nothing that day, but oh well, she came back with two glasses and allowed Daniel open the bottle. 

Daniel smiled when she came back with some ice and she asked him why he was full of smiles, he told her he was excited to be there with her "alone" without the rest of the family.  He also asked her how she still got ice cubes without light for almost a week now... " my fridge is the same with Ariana's, it can retain ice for three weeks and sometimes even more. " That's incredible, Daniel replied. I should tell Mr Anderson to get one of it cause we haven't drank anything cold since the light went off". Alex laughed and said, "maybe you should”.

Daniel, holding the bottle, looked at her again and asked her how did she know he'll prefer whisky... She told him it was the last thing  she saw him drink so she felt he must really like the drink. They both laughed and he said, "I love whiskey though " as he opened it and poured into the glass’ they had raised.

Daniel asked Alexandra all the questions Alexandra wanted him to ask her and she answered truthfully, and in a minute, Daniel knew so much about her than Audrey did. Daniel was wining. Although it was not a competition but he was winning and that mattered to him. There was nothing he was going to tell her that she doesn't know already and he didn't want to ruin the moment they were having with his ugly past and she wasn't about to ask.

He found her interesting and fun. Peaceful like when Brian found Ari.  It felt like he was home after Mr Anderson treated him well; here, is where he must belong.
