In an attempt to open up, Daniel let the cat out of the bag. A clear understanding of pictures and paintings were now hanging on every wall. She knew he was telling the truth because his innocence was seen by mere stare, and Mr Anderson knew she heard something.

While Audrey drew near, Daniel whispered to his boss, "I hope they didn't hear anything I said" and he told Dan,  "speak for the officer because this one (pointing at Alex) is smart enough to not catch a glimpse". Daniel became uncomfortable for a second, but Mr Anderson's stare brought back his demeanor and he regained his composure.

Alex on the other hand stood like she was glued glaring at Daniel, and Audrey had to snap her out of herself and broke word with them.

He asked Mr Anderson why they chose the cellar instead of the livingroom,  wondering if they didn't want him and Alex to participate in their little adventure, but Mr Anderson told him that, that wasn't the case, " I felt you and Alexandra needed some space and I needed a drink, I bet Daniel needed too (he said that  looking at Daniel) and Daniel responded and said, "Yes, the weather is cold and one must always stay warm you know...".

Mr Anderson told them to sit  now that they were all together and drink with them even though Audrey did not really want to be in the midst of two extra buddies. There was nothing he could do because that wasn't his crib and even if it were, he'd still have to behave nice to his guests.

So he sat pulling Alexandra's hand while sitting, which compelled her to sit as well. And all this time, Alexandra said nothing but look at Daniel...
